SensUs receives grant from EIT Health

We are proud to inform you that SensUs has received a grant from EIT Health, the Health division of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, for the development of the SensUs competition.

The subsidy has been granted by the EIT Health Campus programme, which supports the development of education initiatives that train new generations of entrepreneurial professionals.

The grant supports the education programs in the 10 universities that participate in SensUs 2017 as well as the honors program of TU/e that organizes the competition. The funding will be used amongst others for multidisciplinary prototype development by teams of students in the 10 universities, integrating biomolecular and physical engineering technologies, and for mobility to allow the teams to convene in the contest week, when they will demonstrate their prototype systems and compete for several awards in a public contest event.

The recognition by EIT Health is an important validation of the SensUs educational concept and will help us to realize our mission: To stimulate education and innovation in biosensing, with a worldwide scope.
