VanGow is an international and interdisciplinary team representing Scotland in the International Biomedical engineering SensUs competition. The team is composed of biomedical scientists, electrical and mechatronic engineers, pharmaceutical researchers, business and management students and sensor-imaging systems developers from the University of Glasgow. The aim is the innovative development of cheap and accessible antibiotic concentration biosensors in plasma. The SensUs competition is a great opportunity to develop and enhance our skills, creativity, problem-solving, stress handling and teamwork; building biomedical sensors to improve healthcare worldwide.
