This year's edition

SensUs 2019

The theme of SensUs 2019 is Managing rheumatic disease, by measuring with ease.

SensUs 2019 has challenged student teams from all over the world to develop innovative biosensing systems for the treatment of rheumatic disease. On the 30th of August, the teams came to Eindhoven and demonstrated their biosensors to the world! The SensUs Innovation Days were a huge success with many unique opportunities to experience the future of healthcare, explore innovations and expand your network.

An international competition

SensUs is a yearly international student competition on sensors for health. By involving students, industry, and health partners we strive to accelerate the development of sensors for better healthcare.

During SensUs 2019, students from all over the world competed to make biosensors for measuring adalimumab, a biological drug that is used to treat rheumatic disease. All teams have showcased their biosensors on the 30th of August during the SensUs Innovation Days at Eindhoven University of Technology. The biosensors have been judged on multiple criteria such as analytical performance, creativity, and industrialization potential, by representatives of academia, industry, and healthcare.
