DDW 2018: Designing for Future Healthcare

“Designing for Future Healthcare” - this was the main theme of our story during the Dutch Design Week.

SensUs was invited to participate in the Dutch Design Week. This is the biggest design event in Northern Europe with a total of 300.000 visitors and over 2600 designers showing their latest works.

We had a stand at the exhibition ‘TU/e Research: Drivers of Change’. The exhibition focused on the translation of new technologies into responsible and innovative solutions for society. The vision of SensUs is that healthcare is developing towards a world wherein care is delivered in a highly personalized manner and that patients can measure their own health with small and precise systems at any time. SensUs supports and stimulates new innovative biosensing solutions for personalized healthcare, so the Dutch Design Week was a perfect place to share our ideas!

On the last day of the Dutch Design Week, we closed Mind the Story with a presentation about SensUs and the future of healthcare. ‘Mind the Story’ is part of the ‘Mind the Step’ exhibition where people working on design and innovation share their stories. We explained what the SensUs competition is and how new biosensing technologies are relevant to many of us.

To conclude, a week full of interesting conversations on the future of healthcare!
