Dutch Technology Week

On 4-9 June the SensUs organization took part in the Dutch Technology Week, a week that exposed the general public to exciting technological developments.  This included the Quiz Night XL in the Klokgebouw, the Meetup with student teams on the TU/e campus and the High Tech Discovery Route.

SensUs kicked off on Thursday 7 June with the Quiz Night XL. SensUs members and SensUs alumni competed in teams of five with over 1200 other participants in a scientific quiz. This event gave us a fun start to a very nice technical weekend!

The Meetup with student teams was held on Friday 8 June. This day was organized for families and professionals to talk with students who are active in student teams. SensUs provided a stand to present the SensUs competition and the field of biosensing. Team T.E.S.T, a participating team of our competition,  also deployed a stand. Furthermore, SensUs gave a presentation in the Blauwe Zaal together with team T.E.S.T. Also other student teams were present, e.g. Solar Team Eindhoven presented their new car, team VirTUe presented their high-tech house called LINQ and a medical drone was disclosed by team BlueJay.

On Saturday 9 June, the High Tech Discovery Route on the TU/e was opened by Jo van Ham around the sustainable house LINQ. The SensUs Organization and team T.E.S.T. had a stand and spoke about SensUs and developments in the field of biosensing with you.

We were very excited to take part in the Dutch Technology Week again and hope to inspire you with our stories in the next edition!
